Hockey Night in PG

Another thing that we found in the neighborhood was a outdoor hockey rink with lights!
Made for quite the good time!

We had a good size group over for dinner and then we all went three doors down to play or watch hockey!

Moose on the loose!

We had some visitors yesterday evening!

Cow and Calf Moose (Mama and Baby)

This one is a bit blurry, but they are both looking at me so if felt like I needed to put it up!

Arrival in Prince George

We arrived in snowy Prince George at 5:15, we had left Chilliwack around 8:30 that morning.
The roads were nice and clear, the drive when really smooth, very thankful for safe travels.

Here are some pictures of the house before we moved all our stuff in....

So very thankful for the warm welcome.

Sewing Project

Because when you are moving it's a great time to start a project.....

When we were sorting through the garage bins we found Jared's baby blanket back that Mom had made for him.

It was quite well loved.... the sides were falling apart, the back was completely thread bare and there was a large hole close to the top due to the blanket getting left over a lamp....

With some advice from Mom and Oma and help from Grandma V we covered on the back with a new sheet, wrapped it around to the sides and added some yellow piping to brighten it up.

We also made a very homemade teddy bear batch to cover the hole up top.

Here is a picture of the finished project!

Welcome

 Welcome!
I created this blog so that we can still keep in touch with family and friends as Jared and I head out to Prince George to start a new adventure. This blog is private and will only be able to be read by the people who are invited. If you know if someone who would like to have access to this blog that I have neglected to add please let me know! All I need is their email address and we would be good to go. Thank-you.
