Mommy and Me

 Some pictures of  Hazel and me from over the past few months. I'm not very good at taken selfies, and most of the time it's so bright outside that I can't see the picture I'm taking anyways... It's taken me a while to get up the courage to share these as I'm quite critical of pictures of myself. But I would like to have pictures saved of me and my baby, so I'm trying to make a effort to remember to take more of them.

Pretty in Denim

Hazel is 10 months old today! She has 3 teeth and I think she is currently working on the 4th. She is starting to say things that sound like "Hi Dada" which Jared is super proud of and she is always very happy to see daddy when he comes home (like drop everything she is doing as soon as she hears the door open and speed crawls to find him) and often won't come to mommy if daddy is holding her. 

She likes to stand and play with toys at the coffee table or the couch, she doesn't army crawl anymore.... (I was really sad when she stopped that one :( I think that one was my favorite) and loves to be helped to walk around, which would be why the only super smiley pictures of her are when she is standing...

The majority of the photo shoot Hazel had her back to me which was not very helpful, but her hair is coming in nicely and has cute little swooshes at the sides. 

Once she noticed I was taken pictures she wanted to show off all of her blocks.

Like I said earlier.. No more army crawl...

Fun Toys

With family visits over for a bit and projects relatively under control I finally have time to do some blog catch up! It feels like quite a while since I have done a post... this is a collection of pics and videos from over the last few month when there has been the odd time that I remember to take a picture of Hazel when she is playing nice or get a video of her without her noticing.

I caught Hazel snuggling the monkey stuffy, she was hugging it with two hands before, but I wasn't able to get a picture of it.

Another little stuffy to play with... it's a bit hard to see in the picture but she is laying on 6 or 7 little blocks while playing with the stuffy... 

Jared and I where both working on projects in the shop. Hazel didn't go down for a nap nice so she got to come in the shop for a bit. Daddy's "toys" were much more fun then her toys...

Sometimes there are certain objects that really get Hazel attention, when they do she loves to babble all about them, the tape measure is one of them 😍 (Video Below)

Hazel found the laches on Jared's guitar case quite entertaining. I was also nicely entertained, by both Jared and Hazel's playing that evening. 😍 (Video Below)

This would have been a super cute photo from the last photo shoot we did, but she had to put one of her favorite toy lids in front of her cute smile...
