Father's Day

Father's day was spend playing and hanging out in our back yard, just nice a relaxing (Jared's favorite)!

An action shot of Jared playing with Nova and Hazel.

I'm not sure why but this one just pulls on my heart strings πŸ’—

It was a pretty warm Sunday afternoon, Jared and Hazel both found the garden hose rather entertaining.
Some Daddy snuggles after all the playing in the grass and water.
This video was taken earlier this month, but I was saving it to share on Father's Day. Jared does a great job of playing with Hazel and this time he had her giggling pretty good which is something that she doesn't do very often so it was quite the accomplishment and treasure. (Video Below)

So Many Things To Do!

Hazel has officially moved into the toddler stage! Compared to last month this month has been wonderful with Hazel, very soon after her first birthday she learned to stand up on her own and was happily walking around the house and yard.

This has been quite the action filled month for Hazel...I don't think I have time to tell every story but hopefully the pictures tell the jest of what Hazel has kept busy with this month...

Playing with the water table on the deck...

Gardening...

Looking at and reading lots books...

Cleaning up grass with Mom...
Playing in the grass...
Playing on the play ground...

Playing in the dirt....
Finding and taking out everything that is within her reach out to play with...
LOVE this picture😍
Going for a bike ride with Mom...

Quiet time...(A much needed activity now that she is so active!)
and last but not least...Climbing on everything...
The wood pile...

The gravel pile...
The fire wood rack... (one of her newest achievements)

I feel like Hazel really grew up a lot this month, just looking back at my month of pictures and she seems so much bigger!.

Here are the few photos that turned out from Hazel's monthly photoshoot, figured I would take them by the dirt/gavel pile as that is one her favorite spots.

Not only has she grow up a lot, she is also turning into much more of a goof! 😍

Jared's 25th Birthday

Happy Birthday Jared! Though this year didn't have as many changes as last year, it was still a year of adjusting to all those changes! Jared has been very busy at work and has filled a lot of different roles there and sometimes too many at the same time. Jared is still an active volunteer at the Pineview Fire Hall and still enjoying it. Jared has also continued to be a wonderful husband and an amazing Father and playmat to Hazel. We both wouldn't know what to do with out you!
I forgot to take a picture of Jared on his actual birthday, which Jared was probably happy about, so I was scrolling through my pictures to try and find a good one and just about all the pictures I found were of Jared on his tractor πŸ˜„ After working with new tractors everyday for a year he finally got his own newer "new to him" tractor, we got it around his birthday so I got away with saying that was his birthday present this year. (I wonder how many years I can get away with that πŸ˜›)

Even though Jared didn't get the tractor unloaded till after 10 he still needed to move "just one scoop of dirt"... which ended up being more like 3 or 4 πŸ˜…
Making some head way on the dirt pile and filling in the swampy areas...
Going to move some large pallets that were in the back corner.
As well as moving dirt and pallets around the tractor is also able to "uproot" a tire, Jared would define this moment as a "selling point to Tonisha" as I was super happy when the tire got moved so simply and have a few others that will need to be moved soon. (Video Below)

Hopefully the tractor didn't take away too much from Jared's birthday post...πŸ˜„

Spring Flowers and Plants

Our field of dandelions!
I know they are usually referred to as a weed and removed from lawns, but I love them, which is good because there are too many to get rid of :) The bright yellow with the lovely green grass and a little Hazel makes for a pretty cute picture, I think 😍.

Garden update:
Positive: Beans, lettuce, carrots and potatoes are all coming up! I have really been enjoying watching everything grow.
Negative: Corn is dying/dead (Just planted some new seeds in the garden hopefully they grow), transplanted green onions also dead, but I think the ones I planted in the garden are starting to come up. Also the little tomato plant that I bought isn't looking that great either...
You win some, you lose some, and learn as you go I guess...
I finally planted my tree! A bit of a change in plans as I was originally planning to plant it in the fire pit once I got most of the ashes out... but the fire pit has been used as a fire pit for a VERY LONG time and had ashes and nails more then a foot and half deep... So I had to give up on that idea and put the tree somewhere else. I planted it about 20ish feet off the deck, my hope is that it provides a bit of shade closer to the house and you can also see it from the front gate which I really like as well.
