Our little Jade has reached six months! It was quite the month of transition with lots going on and constant weather changes. Found out over our camping trip that Jade needs a dark cover for feeding, so we are finally getting much better feedings in through out the day! Naps and nighttime sleeping have been getting better, though I am often still up for a feeding sometimes two during the night.
Though I managed to catch Jade sitting still, this is a very rare position to find her in. She is super curious, reaching for everything, and loves to rock while she is sitting, which typically means she doesn't stay sitting for long. She is quite fond of the highchair that got set up so she can join us at the dinner table, she will happily munch on crackers or experiment with other food that is on her tray, most of which ends up on the floor.
Jade has been getting on to her elbows and knees or hands and knees for a few weeks now! So far we just have circles and backwards motion, though I'm sure forwards motion isn't to far off.
These two goofs love each other so much and Hazel can get lots of smiles and giggles out of Jade, especially if they are both over tired.
