PG Spring

I wanted to see how much the snow melted while we were gone on our valley trip, so I took before and after pictures.
This is what the yard looked like when we came home. Only snow left in the shady spots.
It was thawed out enough that I was able to turn over the garden.  I was really surprised how it turned out because it was full of grass and weeds.
Needs a bit more dirt yet, but feeling hopeful for a little vegetable garden this year.

Jared brought home a trailer full of scrap wood from work. Hazel is eagerly waiting for Daddy to take her outside.
We enjoyed quite the bonfire that night, I loved watching all the sparks in the sky, but was also very glad the fire pit was basically in the middle of a puddle.😄
On Sunday afternoon we went for another tromp through the woods in the back, which we figured out was a lot easier when the snow was on top of all the brambles. Even though Hazel was in the carrier she was pretty tuckered when we got back inside.
and this is what we woke up to on Monday morning, Winter wonderland once again.
The next morning all the trees were completely frosted over which so far in my favorite look!

  1. I was going to comment on how nice it must be to have your grassy yard back again, but I guess you'll have to wait just a bit longer for winter to end up there!
