Not sure why we never thought of it before, but I finally had a brain wave that I didn't need to wait for Jared and the truck to be available for projects. So Jared took the Acadia to work and I had the truck for the day, Hazel still technically fits in her bucket seat so we didn't need to move car seats over or anything!
I cleaned out the back of the truck before we went to pick up dirt and as there was a bunch of stuff in there that I didn't want to end up in my garden. Hazel had a blast playing in the back seat!
Even though picking up dirt in itself wasn't a very hard task, it definitely broke through a mental barrier for me. I'm learning how to do projects without Jared around and learning that I CAN do them, and that I enjoy the work as well.
And now you can actually tell that my garden has dirt in it from the kitchen window! 😄 Hopefully it will grow us some nice veggies this year.
What a cutie pie looking out the back of the truck!!!
